A study conducted to analyse use of Amazon Kindle DX in the course of reading by University of Washington graduate students provides the first long-term investigation of e-readers in higher education.

Some of the findings were expected like, students wanting improved support for taking notes, checking references and viewing figures.

However, the authors also found that allowing people to switch between reading styles and providing The Reader with physical cues, are two challenges that e-readers will need to address.

Which is better ? Sony Reader of kindle DX?

I have both of them. I thought Sony Reader is better. Kindle DX is too large, which makes my eyes hurt. Words are too large. Sony have smaller screen so it is easier to read. Not just that, Sony reader is better for my eyes to read.
