plug the device to your computer using the USB cable quit iTunes if it shows up start greenpois0n.app follow instructions the device will boot a 1st time with verbose text on screen. This operation will install the jailbreak on the device. the device will reboot normally start the Loader application (green icon on the SpringBoard), and follow instructions to install Cydia In addition, there seems to be a temporary fix if greenpois0n doesn't work the first time; that is, hold the Home button while jailbreaking. Apparently, that'll make the jailbreak work. I can't confirm this....
how hard and risky is it to jailbreak 4.2.1 iphone?
i was thinking to try to jailbreak my iphone 4.2.1 and want to now how hard it is and the risks?
If your using a mac, you can use redsnow to jailbreak 4.2.1. There isn't a jailbreak out quite yet for windows. My suggestion would be to downgrade to 4.1 if you have your SHSH blobs on file with cydia and jailbreak with limera1n. I would do this because
